Francization

Learning French allows you to take your place in Quebec society. Mastering the official language of the province broadens your career opportunities and offer you a better quality of life. You will build new friendships thanks to the exceptional synergy emanating from the group. Learning French allows you to feel at home in Quebec.

Why learn French?

TO FIND A SATISFAYING JOB

Speaking French will allow you to continue your current career or reorient yourself towards a whole new area of expertise. French being the official language of Quebec, this will open up new opportunities.

TO PARTICIPATE IN COMMUNITY LIFE

Learning French means integrating into French-speaking Quebec society and discovering the province's cultural richness. Participating in neighbourhood activities will therefore be possible for you thanks to your language skills.

TO OFFICIALLY IMMIGRATE IN QUEBEC

Once you have completed level 4 of francization, you will be able to take the French evaluation test (TEF) Canada. This test demonstrates your language skills required by Immigration and citizenship Canada as well as by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI). You will therefore be able to apply for permanent residency or Canadian citizenship.

TO BECOME A MEMBER OF A PROFESSIONAL ORDER

Quebec has 46 professional orders regulating each profession and its members. Quebec law requires that you have a sufficient knowledge appropriate to your job to join your professional order, otherwise your licence won't be delivered.
